Dennis Willis is the award-winning host, producer and editor of Soundwaves, a Bay Area-based music entertainment show that recently left the airwaves after a record-setting 25 years.
Willis is a movie nut, runs Soundwaves Cinema and appeared on two film-based shows, Reel Life (1993-96) and FilmTrip (1997-98). He is currently in pre-production on a third syndicated film-based show, that will launch in Fall 2009. He is currently the film critic on KGO Newstalk 810 AM.
He recently began making personal live Q&A appearances, discussing the entertainment industry in his own unique, irreverent style.
Willis has worked with Steven Kirk for over 20 years on various television, film and stage projects. They wrote and directed Unwrapped, an acclaimed indie short about exploitation; and have collaborated on several screenplays they plan to direct. They own and operate Capricorn Entertainment.
