Biography

Jeff Zimmer is a three time Emmy nominee for his work on "Talk Soup". He was also nominated for 9 Cable Ace awards for "Not Necessarily the News", "The Mickey Mouse Club" and "Talk Soup".

On "Talk Soup" he was the "handler" for Senor Sock, the fiery "Toast of Argentina" and to this day helps him update his website (http://sockfilmreviews.bravehost.com/index.html).

Jeff has written for a number of performers and hosts, including John Henson, Greg Kinnear, Aisha Tyler, Fred Willard, Joan Rivers, Jon Cryer, Tyra Banks, French Stewart, D.L. Hughley, Suzanne Somers, Rosanne Barr, George Wallace, Rita Rudner, John O'Hurley, Frankie Avalon, Jerry Springer, Dom DeLuise, Jennifer Tilly, William Shatner, Joan Collins, Leslie Neilson, Donna D'errico, Phyllis Diller Senor Sock and many others he is legally prohibited from mentioning.

Jeff has also served as senior post producer for the reality dating show "Elimidate", acted as creative director for the ELATE theater group in North Hollywood for over ten years and has directed a number of plays, including "Figments", "The Man Who Came to Dinner" and "They'd Hang You in Nashville".

Special Olympics

The attention everybody paid to President Obama's insensitive joke about the Special Olympics when talking about his bowling on the "Tonight Show" obscured the real issue. Obama claimed he had bowled a 129. This is a guy who bowled a 37 during the campaign. A BAD 37. So was he lying about bowling the 129 or has he been spending time he should be using to focus on the economy to practice his bowling?
